LoopTag system starts working once a VIU equipped vehicle enters the station.The system is authorized per transaction on the vehicle’s identity and is commonly used as a tool to secure the refueling process.LoopTag using sophisticated RFID tag (VIU) mounted on the machine or vehicle around or near the fuel filler neck. All the remaining hardware and electronic components are part of the fuel management system logic. An RFID reader (NRTU) installed on the fuel nozzle reads the unique UID code from the passive RFID tag and transmits it to a computer on the fuel station (FMS),The FMS checks the UID code against a database to make sure it is an authorized unit. It then enables the fuel pump and records the volume of fuel dispensed. the systems include module that provide an odometer reading based on the machine’s routs.
LoopTag VIU is a smart electronic unit using a low frequency (LF) RFID component. Each VIU has its unique ID and a security system including a sophisticated self-destruct mechanism.
